CORE
Cardiovascular Recovery Support
About CORE
CORE was founded to bring dignity, clarity, and local support into the cardiovascular recovery process. What started as one chapter is now a network of 25+ chapters across 6 states, working alongside the stroke department at Baylor Scott & White to put recovery kits in patients' hands.

CORE in Action
CORE recovery kits, packed by volunteers and ready to bring practical support to patients and families.
Why It Matters
Cardiovascular recovery can feel isolating. Patients and caregivers are often managing questions, routines, logistics, and uncertainty all at once. CORE exists to meet that moment with practical support and visible community care.
Patients navigating cardiovascular recovery, along with the families and caregivers supporting them.
Through recovery kits, student and community chapters, events, and sponsor relationships that keep the mission sustainable.
A trusted network of local support that grows through chapters, partnerships, and measurable community impact.
Hospital Partnership
Working directly with hospital care teams is what turns a kit into real recovery support. It puts CORE in the room at the moment patients are discharged.
Hospital Partner
Stroke Department
CORE partners with the stroke department at Baylor Scott & White to get recovery kits directly into the hands of patients leaving care, so support arrives when the transition home is hardest.
